So delicious!!! Service was good and everything we ordered was so tasty. We ordered the french onion soup, famous boeuf bourguignon, linguine al vongole, and duck breast. along with a virgin strawberry mojito. the weather was great and we sat outside and had a nice breeze going at all times. Very happy with this choice!

This bistro really nails the experience for clueless American tourists checking out the D'Orsay or the Louvre nearby. When I arrived at 7:40, the place was already buzzing with tourists finishing their meals. They quickly guided me to the front row seats on the sidewalk, as if they already knew that's what a first time visitor to Paris like me would love to do. The menu had a good selection of casual French dishes. But of course I had to get their beef bourguignon, featured right on top. After trying a few around Paris, they did not disappoint. It was the best I had yet. No dry chuck chunks here. They also featured extra large escargot, which I've not had for over 20 years. I've never had any this large and they were fantastic, just luscious and supple little nibbles. I had to get the obligatory onion soup. I've had tons of them all over the US. Some were pretty good, but I had to get the taste of the original. Theirs was clearly better than most I've ever had at home. I think it's the cheese, which we can't readily get. I also tried the rump eye, which was well seasoned but not all that interesting. And to round it all off, they even put in come standard Italian pastas for tourists who won't be able to make it to Italy. I'll be waiting for that. Sitting there in the front row amongst fellow tourists, I was in good company with what I ordered. Most had about the same. One older American couple pulled the flex and got the 3 tier seafood tower, something that looks straight out of Vegas. Overall, a great spot to spend a nice summer evening, even if we were all watching other tourists. Still, a few locals made their way in and added wonderful authenticity to the experience. They just didn't order up and down the menu like novices. The service was excellent. Our waiter humored our silliness when we asked for all the dishes at the same time. Well, our bistro table was filled to the edge and beyond. We'll take the hint next time. One example stood out. I had flubbed my steak knife off our crowded table when a neighboring table got seated. Annoyed at myself for being careless, I got it off the pavement. As soon as I got the dropped knife back on the table, our hostess presented me with a replacement. Very impressive. Will definitely try to return when I swing back to Paris in two weeks.
